MOL Romania’s Multibonus programme now powered by Merit Loyalty Suite

MOL Romania, member of the leading international oil and gas company MOL group, has relaunched and enriched its popular Multibonus loyalty programme with Axiom’s Merit Loyalty Suite as its main technology pillar.

Axiom’s expertise in petroleum and retail loyalty as well as Merit’s reliability in supporting large loyalty programs enabled MOL Romania to implement its strategy for a seamless real-time rewards experience at all filling stations of its network with differentiation of rewards by customer, item, location and method of payment.

The Multibonus loyalty programme is now fully available online at all petrol stations of MOL Romania’s network. It was enhanced with a broad range of fresh and innovative functionalities all supported by Axiom’s Merit Loyalty Suite. In particular, Merit Campaigns, Axiom’s state of the art campaign management engine, together with Merit eChannels, Axiom’s online transaction processing engine, delivers online/real-time customer rewards at MOL Romania’s filling stations, while Merit Complaints, one of the newest modules of the Suite, provide an integrated approach to complaint management and improving customer satisfaction.

Multibonus rewards customers for all their purchases of fuel and products from the filling stations’ convenience stores, with differentiated rewards (points and discounts) per product. In addition, the program rewards members for registration and for referrals of friends and family members.

On the redemption side, Multibonus offers instant redemption within its filling stations as well as on the multibonus.ro website. Earned points can be exchanged for discount on shop items (including fuel) as well as for items from the program’s rich catalog. Merit complements the real-time redemption experience by providing order tracking facilities and automatic notifications.

Finally, the Multibonus team is making full use of the capabilities offered by Merit Intelligence and Communications module for selecting target segments and for creating and distributing personalized content, both massively and interactively, as triggered by customer online interaction with the program.
